Saturday morning
Pecan sticky buns
Soft dough, dark caramel, toasted pecans. Out of the oven around 7:30 — they rarely last past 10.
SE Division · Portland
Sourdough, pastries, and weekend specials from a tiny bakery that opens at 7am — when the crust is still singing.
The bake
Rosie & Bean is a walk-up neighbourhood bakery on SE Division. We mill flavour into every loaf with long fermentation, local flour, and a starter we’ve kept alive since 2019 — the one we call Bean.
Come for a still-warm country loaf, a buttery croissant, or whatever weekend special is coming out of the oven. Stay for a coffee and a seat by the window if you’ve got time.
Weekend & weekly
Small batches, first come first served. We post the board by the door each morning — here’s what’s planned.

Friday lunch
Olive oil–rich, dimpled and salted. Perfect for sandwiches or torn into a late breakfast.
Sunday
Free-form pastry with Pacific Northwest berries and a whisper of lemon. Slices go with afternoon coffee.
Specials change with the season and the mood of the kitchen. Ask at the counter if you’re planning a visit.
Every day
Croissants, pain au chocolat, and fruit danishes share the case with our country sourdough, seeded loaves, and a rotating rye. Everything is mixed, folded, and baked on site.
We open at 7am Tuesday through Sunday. If you want a full loaf for the table, early is best — the good ones disappear by midday.
Visit
Doors open at 7am. We bake until we sell out — often earlier on weekends.
Division Street
Look for the sage-green storefront between 28th and 29th on SE Division — bike racks out front, the smell of butter usually gives us away first.
